We offer a Galvanizing service, combining outside work with our own, when transporting to our local galvanizers, we regularly take arctic loads on Mondays and Thursdays', with the equipment being dipped and ready to collect load over load.
All steelwork needs to be well ventilated [8mm min dia holes], The main reason for these holes is to allow otherwise trapped air and gases to escape and to allow cleaning chemicals and molten zinc metal to flow throughout the fabrication, and then back into the tank. Because of the temperatures involved in the galvanizing process there is a significant risk of explosion when any trapped liquid is rapidly heated in the galvanizing bath, the better the venting, the better the finish!
If equipment is brought into us with insufficient venting, additional holes will be drilled/cut as required, [there is an additional charge for this].
Galvanizing is charged on the weight after galvanizing on a per kilo basis.
